Not sure about that either, can you explain it? I had did probably. Basically, it is run by Suppliers/workers/both. Most of the profit is shared by them. An example is Sugarmills of western maharashtra. These Mills have Farmers who cultivate Sugarcane as their members. It will buy their product at the MSP decided by the Government which is always higher than the market price. The members will also elect a representative board which will put the members' demand ahead. They will also have funds to provide support to the members. The Mills have become very powerful in the local politics and the president of the board is considered more prestigious than the MLA of the constituency. The mills are running in profit and western maharashtra administrative division(Pune Division) has second highest Per-capita income after Konkan division(it has Mumbai and 95 percent industrialists, Bollywood actors, Cricketers are residents of Mumbai) in Maharashtra. Nowadays it is even said that even though the state government sits in Mumbai, orders come from Baramati.
