America's Wilsonianism still lives to this day. Communism dried out because it didn't work in the field. Too many people were taking advantage of it to speak out against it. The only thing that polcomp got right is that communism is pretty much fascism. It's not that it didn't work, it's that it wasn't communsim, it's authoritarianism. The basis of communism is to destroy class division, yet you can look at the Soviet Union or China and class division are omnipresent. They simply use the words to give themselves excuses for their actions. I suggest you start ready some of Noam Chomsky's books (a fellow ana-synd), he speaks alot about it. Then what about Venezuala? It is almost fully communist (aligns near perfectly with the ten points outlined by Marx), and it is still collapsing. I hate Wilsonianism, as well as Communism. My father used to tell me that "In communism, the governments start controlling the businesses. In fascism, the businesses start controlling the government. Both end with them being the same."

Well, the collapse was caused by several things, one of the main causes would probably be Madero, Chavez did some things but never made the country collapse. Maduro is just a dictator but also, an important cause would be the economic sanctions put in place by the U.S, blocking essential supplies from starving people.

SO you are claiming that the cause of collapse was US sanctions. However, the US only had partial sanctions, and gave tons of financial and humanitarian aid to Venezuela, and even so, its economy was dropping and hyperinflating years before that.

I also said that Maduro was mishandling things and was a dictator, not allowing free elections. But also, the U.S is a major world power, even more so in the Americas, even partial sanctions can destroy countries.

And free elections are a direct threat to communism.

Yes, in India, there is a state in South called Kerala and it ruled by a Coilation left parties (Left democratic front) led by Communist Party of India (Marxist). The state usually altered between LDF and UDF led by Congress and Indian Union Muslim League. Elections were held last month and LDF returned to power by a thumping majority of 99 to 41 of UDF. The state has the highest HDI in India and also has at start managed COVID-19 crsis quite well, as well as the Nipah virus (Also originated in bats) a couple years before and 2 consecutive floods (It is on the coast)
