I'm completely fine for a debate, but such retorts as "ok liar" don't help anyone. Neither of us have gained new information, or seen a different train of thought. Such retorts are often what lead people to find echo chambers. They feel like no one will take them serious, and instead of seeing different points of view, surround themselves with like minded people, which can lead to the rise of dangerous thought groups. I personally am not a fan of bush, however I do prefer Republican candidates. I belive in things like freedom of speech, right go bear arms, small businesses and the like. That does not however, mean that I need to like everyone Republican candidate. If there was a Democrat who I felt had more of my interests in mind then the republican, I would choose the Democrat. |
